Kuala Lumpur - Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur

The fourth tallest building in the city is this one. quite a record, since it is a building dedicated to a hotel, so we are talking about one of the tallest hotels in the world. Kuala Lumpur can be proud because it has had the title of the tallest building in the world for several years, it also took the title from none other than the Sears Tower in Chicago, and currently the city has the second tallest building in the world. The hotel we are going to discuss today is the tallest tower dedicated to a hotel in the city of Kuala Lumpur. the impressive hotel is all glass. of a dark color. It is located in a central location in the city surrounded by palm trees and shops at its base. There are cars, motorcycles and endless traffic around the gigantic hotel. The building has 74 floors. The building has a garage with four underground floors. Next we have the ground floor where the car entrance and exit area is to pick up or drop off visitors and guests of the building. Next, as in many buildings of this style, we have a three-story shopping center. This skyscraper is a hotel but it is also a building for private residences, so there are two important points that differentiate them. On the 4th floor we have the hotel reception with parking and other hotel services, the 7th floor is dedicated to private residences. The hotel itself is from the 8th floor to the 18th floor, where the rooms and suites are. Floors 19, 20, and 21 are dedicated to services. Starting from the 22nd floor we already have apartments up to the 33rd floor. About 8 apartments per floor. The 35th floor is where the skylobby is for the occupants of the private apartments. From floors 36 to 64 we find more apartments, a little larger, and logically on the highest floors, 60 to 64, are the most exclusive apartments in the building. The 65th floor has an exclusive private area for residents of the apartments. The hotel is right next to the famous Petronas Towers so the view is sensational from any apartment or hotel room.

Kuala Lumpur - Merdeka 118

The night in Kuala Lumpur breathes softly beneath Merdeka 118, an ocean of lights stretching to the horizon, shimmering like constellations fallen to earth. The tower rises through the darkness like a blade of glass and silver, impossibly tall, impossibly calm — a silent guardian of the city.

Inside, the panoramic elevator waits.

Its doors close with a hushed whisper.

And then — ascent.

The city begins to fall away.

The glass walls reveal everything. Streets unravel into glowing ribbons. Cars become fireflies. Towers shrink into glowing sculptures. In seconds, gravity feels like a memory as the elevator climbs at lightning speed, slicing through layers of night.

Higher.
Faster.
Brighter.

The skyline transforms into a luminous sea — millions of lights pulsing like a living organism. From this height, Kuala Lumpur feels endless, a vast glowing metropolis floating in darkness. It recalls the view from Chicago’s Willis Tower — that same cinematic vastness, where the city becomes a galaxy and you are suspended among the stars.

Wind hums faintly around the glass.
The world keeps shrinking.

And then — the observatory.

The doors open to silence and awe.

Above half a kilometer in the sky, the city lies entirely at your feet. Towers sparkle like crystal spires. Highways curve like rivers of gold. The night stretches in every direction, boundless and breathtaking.

Here, time slows.

People speak in whispers.
Hearts beat a little faster.
Eyes widen.

The lights flicker endlessly below, a hypnotic ocean of brilliance — and for a moment, you’re no longer just visiting a building.

You’re floating above a living city.

Merdeka 118 doesn’t simply offer a view.
It offers flight.

The second tallest building in the world is located in Kuala Lumpur. The tower has no less than 118 floors. This giant of the city of Kuala Lumpur is mainly dedicated to offices, an upper part of the tower also houses a hotel and some upper floors are open to the public, a fabulous restaurant with no less fabulous views delights diners from both day and night. The hotel offers those who sleep at such a height the chance to wake up seeing the entire city at their feet or fall asleep seeing millions of lights, quite a spectacle. The tower has direct access to both the monorail and the city subway, so the hundreds of employees who climb the tower do not even need to go outside to go to the building, something similar to several skyscrapers that are being built in different parts of the country. world. The building has a wonderful public observatory that is accessed through two panoramic elevators that go up at lightning speed and in less than a minute you are at the top, no less than half a kilometer high. The visit to the observatory is a truly unforgettable experience from the first moment, because unlike other observatories that have interior elevators, and the passenger does not see anything until they reach the floor of the observatory, in this case it is the opposite, from the ground floor to the 118th floor, the passenger can see the elevator going up at full speed because the panel where the elevator is located is made of glass, so the view is simply spectacular. The 118 floors are divided into low, medium and high sectors. The lower area is where offices are located up to the 23rd floor, this area is served by direct elevators from the ground floor. From the 24th to the 39th floor are the floors dedicated to offices in the second upper area of the building. You can also go up directly from the ground floor in the corresponding elevators. From the 43rd to the 74th floor is the upper office area. To go to these floors you have to take an express elevator directly to the skylobby on the 40th floor. On this floor, you have to change elevators and take local elevators to go up to the upper floors. of offices. On the 75th floor is the hotel's skylobby. To go to this skylobby there is another direct elevator from the hotel reception located on the 3rd floor. Once on the 75th floor, you have to change elevators to go up to the rooms located on the floors. 100 to 112. On the 76th floor there is another skylobby where you have to go to be able to go up to the offices located in the highest area of the tower, offices on floors 78 to 96. From the 97th to the 112th floor is the hotel. From the 100th floor onwards there are the rooms but on the 97th to 99th floors there are hotel services such as a gym, rooms, restaurant areas, etc. The 114th floor has a luxury restaurant. The 115th floor is where the observatory is located, although it is called 118, it is actually on the 115th and 116th floors of the tower. On the 118th floor itself, there is a VIP area. which is precisely the last floor that visitors can go up to. The 99th floor houses the swimming pool.
